I find as this winter progresses the continual snow and ice are really starting to have an effect. A depressing one at that – you know my day is dull and my well being is on the slippery slope. It’s just going on too long and today I decided that I’d let my Art cheer me up.
One of the most wonderful sights you can see in the superb natural world of flowers is a wild field of Bluebells.
And whilst these have long been a favourite with photographers it’s still really difficult to get that “special” picture – that one image that really catches the incredibly dense and rich colouration of the the natural blue. I confess I’ve never managed it and I have an awful lot of pictures of bluebells. A bit like that other wonderful incandescent shrub/tree – the Jacaranda. How often has that been shot and never really captured as we see it with our eyes.
OK so maybe I’ve packed just a tad too much intensity into this picture but what the heck – what a contrast to that damned snow!
I’m saved ! I’ve let my Art talk and this version of wild Bluebells seems for me at any rate to just about manage it – AND it has definitely cheered me up!
CLICK on it and it should open that bit bigger – Enjoy!
